Smoke extraction systems for vehicles in garages and emergency stations
Smoke and gas extraction systems for vehicles
In recent years, an emphasis has been put on maintaining a safe area, clean of gas emissions.
The gasses are emitted from various vehicles: private and commercial vehicles, trucks, busses, trains, etc.
These gases contain a high concentration of CO2, which causes headaches, dizziness, nausea, and possibly death.
AMS representatives conduct surveys in the garage or the motor building, and collect all of the required data, such as vehicle type, number of workstations, their locations, and more, to provide a suitable solution.
A common solution for our clients is a system that includes adapted extraction fans and means, and a extraction & filtering facility upon necessity.
These systems include extraction means, such as:
- For single stations:
- Mobile floor facilities
- Extraction arms
- Hose reels with openings or collectors
- Hose reels with hose reels
- For multiple stations:
- Hose reels with openings or collectors
- Hose reels
- Extraction rails with movable carts, on which hose reels, extraction arms or hose reels can be installed. It is possible to move the extraction means from one workstation to another with a vehicle.
- Fire stations normally have rails that enable handling of smoke emission from fire engines when they drive through the enclosed station. These systems have an automatic mechanism for disconnecting from the vehicle’s exhaust pipe.
When there is a need for extraction and filtration facilities, they are selected according to the type of pollutant, number of extraction stations, and the authorities’ requirements.
